Triple-Digit Heat Set to Dominate the Forecast!

It looks like triple digit heat is here to stay for a while...


PHOENIX — The Valley is bracing for a heatwave as temperatures soar into the triple digits over the next week. While some areas may dip just below 100°F, most will remain above average.

Wind conditions are expected to intensify in higher elevations on Saturday, escalating fire risks in northern and eastern Arizona. Gusts could reach 20 to 30 mph before calming down to under 20 mph on Sunday and Monday. Currently, no weather advisories are in effect, but updates will be provided on 12News and through the 12News app.

The seven-day forecast shows progressively rising temperatures:

SATURDAY: High of 99°F, low of 73°F – Above normal

SUNDAY: High of 100°F, low of 73°F – Mainly sunny

MEMORIAL DAY: High of 101°F, low of 74°F – Sunny

TUESDAY: High of 101°F, low of 75°F – Mostly sunny

WEDNESDAY: High of 102°F, low of 75°F – Mostly sunny

THURSDAY: High of 103°F, low of 74°F – Mostly sunny

FRIDAY: High of 105°F, low of 78°F – Mostly sunny
