Tragic Single-Vehicle Accident Claims Life on Wednesday

A tragic incident in Lake Havasu City claimed the life of 67-year-old Jeffery Woods on Wednesday afternoon. The single-vehicle accident occurred around 1 p.m. near the intersection of McCulloch Boulevard and Daytona Avenue.
According to Sgt. Kyle Ridgway from the Lake Havasu City Police Department, Woods was the only occupant of the vehicle. While traveling eastbound on McCulloch Boulevard, the car veered off the road, crashing into a mailbox before colliding with a wall.
Emergency personnel arrived quickly, finding Woods unconscious. Despite immediate lifesaving efforts by officers and firefighters, he was later pronounced dead at Havasu Regional Medical Center.
Initial investigations suggest that Woods may have experienced an unknown medical episode before the crash. At this stage, it remains unclear whether drug or alcohol use played a role, with additional information expected to emerge as the inquiry continues.
