ELOY, Ariz. — Tragedy struck at Skydive Arizona on Friday when a parachuting accident claimed the life of a 55-year-old woman. Authorities identified the deceased as Ann Wick, a resident of Minnesota.

The Eloy Police Department reported that emergency services were alerted shortly after 4 p.m. when complications arose during Wick’s descent. Despite the swift response from medics, she was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is conducting an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident. This tragic event raises ongoing concerns regarding safety measures at skydiving operations.
