A man died after crashing his motorcycle in Phoenix on Friday. He has now been identified.


PHOENIX — A tragic motorcycle accident occurred in Phoenix on Friday evening, resulting in the death of a 38-year-old man identified as Julio Suarez.

According to the Phoenix Police Department, the crash took place around 5:45 p.m. at the intersection of 51st and Southern avenues. Upon arrival, officers discovered Suarez’s motorcycle on the side of the road, with the rider nearby.

Emergency responders pronounced Suarez dead at the scene. Preliminary investigations indicate that Suarez was speeding through the intersection when he lost control of the motorcycle. He veered off the roadway, colliding with a metal fence and a telephone junction box.
