Tragic Motorcycle Collision in North Phoenix Claims One Life

PHOENIX — A tragic motorcycle accident occurred Tuesday, claiming the life of a rider in north Phoenix.
The incident took place around 1 p.m. at the intersection of 9th Street and Bell Road. Emergency responders pronounced the motorcyclist dead at the scene, as confirmed by Phoenix police.
Authorities are actively investigating the collision, and access to the intersection may be limited for an extended period.
The Phoenix Metropolitan Area, commonly referred to as “The Valley,” includes several major cities, of which Phoenix is the most populous. The 2020 U.S. Census reported the total population of the Valley to be approximately 4.8 million, making it the 11th largest metropolitan area in the United States.
