Tragic Loss: Rep. Andy Biggs’ Daughter Passes Away at 37

U.S. Representative Andy Biggs has announced the passing of his daughter, Cosette Biggs-Finerd, who succumbed to cancer earlier this week. At just 37 years old, she leaves behind three young children.

In a heartfelt post on X, Biggs expressed that his family is heartbroken over her death but grateful for the time they spent together in her final moments.

He extended his gratitude to the community for its thoughts, prayers, and support during this difficult period.

“We are humbled by this great community and the outpouring of love for Cosette and our family,” Biggs shared on social media.

Many of Biggs’ followers and politicians from both sides of the aisle have sent their condolences, including Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs.

“There is no greater loss than the loss of a child,” Hobbs remarked. “I extend my deepest condolences to Representative Biggs and his entire family during this trying time.”
