Tragic Discovery: Body Found in Unfinished Paradise Valley Home

Rescue crews found a man dead at a home under construction.

PARADISE VALLEY, Ariz — One man is dead after being found at a home under construction in Paradise Valley.

Around 12:30 p.m. on Monday, crews from the Phoenix and Scottsdale fire departments were dispatched to a construction site near McDonald Drive and Scottsdale Road for reports of a person trapped underneath fallen debris.

As firefighters found a man involved in the incident, they determined that he was beyond resuscitative efforts, officials said.

Authorities said early information suggests several windows had fallen from a forklift operating at the site and onto an employee working in the area.

Phoenix and Scottsdale technical rescue teams were on-scene to help with the body recovery operation.

Officers are investigating the incident.
