PHOENIX — A tragic overnight accident in Phoenix has resulted in two fatalities and left two others injured. The collision took place at the intersection of 73rd Avenue and Indian School Road.

According to the Phoenix Fire Department, crews responded to reports of a crash involving two vehicles. Upon arrival, firefighters found one car occupied by a single individual, who sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to the hospital.

The second vehicle was more severely impacted. It contained two occupants in their 20s, both of whom sadly lost their lives. A third individual from the same vehicle was also taken to the hospital with injuries that are not life-threatening.

Phoenix police have initiated an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash. Detectives are currently on the scene, gathering evidence and interviewing witnesses to understand better how this tragic event unfolded.
