PHOENIX — A tragic accident claimed the life of a teenager in north Phoenix on Friday. The incident occurred at the intersection of 51st Avenue and Bell Road.

According to the Phoenix Fire Department, a vehicle driven by a teenage boy was making a left turn when it collided with an SUV. This collision caused the SUV to veer onto the sidewalk, where it struck a man in a wheelchair; fortunately, he was unharmed.
