Tragedy Strikes: Woman Loses Life in Devastating Double House Fire in West Phoenix
PHOENIX — A woman lost her life after being rescued from a double house fire early Friday morning, as reported by Phoenix fire officials. The incident occurred near 83rd Avenue and Thomas Road just after 2 a.m.
Upon arrival, firefighters discovered both homes engulfed in flames. Their immediate priority was to conduct search and rescue operations in an attempt to locate any victims.
Tragically, first responders found the woman inside the west home. She was pronounced dead at the scene. Fortunately, the fire crews were able to control the blaze before it extended to neighboring residences. The cause of the fire is not yet determined.
No injuries to firefighters have been reported. Authorities have not disclosed the woman’s identity or the number of residents displaced by the event.
