Tragedy Strikes: 20 Displaced and One Dog Lost in Devastating Apartment Blaze
GLENDALE, Ariz. — A fire at an apartment complex near 75th Avenue and Glendale Avenue has resulted in the displacement of 20 adults and the tragic death of one dog. The incident occurred on Sunday afternoon, prompting a swift response from local fire crews.
Firefighters from Glendale, Phoenix, and Sun City joined Rural Metro Fire in battling the blaze. Upon arrival, they encountered a two-story building engulfed in flames. Thankfully, the building was evacuated without any reported injuries.
Despite the humane efforts, one dog was lost, and a total of four dogs were among those affected. Investigators are currently working to determine the cause of the fire.
