Tortosa mom seeks runaway son, 16: ‘Please just come home’

Tortosa parents are concerned for their teenage son, Christian David Drane, who they believe has run away from home. The 16-year-old left his residence on Cartegna Lane with his orange Mongoose bicycle early Saturday morning.

According to his mother, Yvonne “Lori” Drane, the departure followed a disagreement regarding his future plans after high school. She speculates that he may be staying at a friend’s house.

In an effort to locate him, the Drane family has reached out to Christian’s friends and contacted Maricopa High School, where he did not attend classes on the day he disappeared.

Yvonne Drane expressed her concerns about her son’s wellbeing, stating that his struggles with grades and possible substance abuse had been growing over time. “He’s very sweet, very kind. But I just recently saw the decline in him mentally,” she remarked.

Christian is described as standing 5-foot-11 and weighing around 130 pounds. At the time he left, he did not have a cell phone, as it had been taken away due to academic issues.

Yvonne has a heartfelt message for her son: “Please just come home. We love you. This is your home, this is where you belong. Whatever it is, we will work it out; your father and I love you dearly.”
