Teen Tech Unveils Revolutionary Housing Solutions

The Arizona Science Center is tackling the challenge of housing sustainability as the global population surpasses eight billion. On December 7, the center will host a special event called Teen Tech IRL, aimed at students in grades 9-12.
The event will provide a platform for teens to delve into the essentials of eco-friendly housing. Local experts will lead discussions on the relationship between housing and environmental impact, setting the stage for creativity. Following this educational segment, participants will form teams to brainstorm and prototype their innovative housing ideas.
After a day of collaboration and creativity, teams will present their prototypes to a panel of judges, competing for prizes. This event not only raises awareness of sustainable housing solutions but also encourages young minds to think critically about the future.
Teen Tech IRL will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Arizona Science Center, located at 600 E. Washington St. The participation fee is $15, which includes lunch. Students interested in attending can register on the Arizona Science Center’s website or by calling 602-716-2000 for more information.
