Maricopa Friends of the Arts has officially announced the postponement of its annual event, Taste of the Arts, now slated for September. Originally set for March 1, the gathering aims to fulfill its mission of supporting local arts through an engaging and entertaining atmosphere.

Details regarding the specific new date and time for “Taste the Arts 2025: Putting FUN in Fundraising & Paying It Forward!” have yet to be revealed. Chrystal Allen-O’Jon, a volunteer with Friends of the Arts, emphasized the decision to reschedule: “We remain committed to bringing the community a night filled with creativity, entertainment, and support for the arts.” The event will still feature the interactive entertainment act “Parodyville Playhowz,” although specifics about the performer haven’t been disclosed.

This year, the event’s location will shift to the Maricopa Unified School District headquarters at 44150 W. Maricopa-Casa Grande Highway. Those interested in updates on the rescheduled date are encouraged to stay tuned for further announcements. This event seeks to strengthen community ties while fostering appreciation for the arts.
