Taqueria debuts new menu

The beloved pork belly taco will make its return to CRUjiente Tacos in January as part of an exciting new menu of food and cocktails, photographed by Debby Wolvos.

CRUjiente Tacos, a standout in the local dining scene known for its innovative dishes, is set to unveil a fresh lineup of menu items this month. As it enters 2025, the popular taqueria continues to elevate its cuisine, much to the delight of discerning food lovers.

Among the highly anticipated offerings is the return of the acclaimed pork belly taco, which features quick kimchi, sambal aioli, and cilantro. This dish promises a vibrant mix of spice, tang, and umami, sure to please returning patrons. Additionally, the menu will introduce full-sized entrées, including a 16-ounce prime ribeye complemented by heirloom bayo beans and chimichurri, as well as a rich duck mole dish that combines seared duck breast with mole negra and guajillo salsa, served with fresh tortillas.

To accompany this impressive food lineup, CRUjiente Tacos is also launching new cocktail creations. Highlights include the “Tale of Two Boroughs,” a sophisticated blend of bourbon and herbal liqueurs, the “Smokin’ Old Fashioned,” which integrates mezcal with a smoky twist, and the refreshing “Naked and Famous in Acapulco,” featuring tropical flavors and citrus.
