A suspect was arrested for his alleged involvement in multiple politically motivated crimes across the Valley


TEMPE, Ariz. — A man has been arrested in connection with a series of alarming incidents involving gunfire directed at the Democratic National Committee office and the installation of suspicious bags containing white powder at political signs in Ahwatukee.

Tempe police revealed that the first shooting took place on September 16, followed by another on September 23. The most recent incident occurred on October 6, targeting the campaign office located near Southern Avenue and Priest Drive.

In addition to the gunfire, the suspect allegedly displayed bags of white powder attached to razor blades at various political signs in Ahwatukee, raising further concerns for public safety.

Details regarding the arrest and additional context surrounding these incidents are expected to be provided at a press conference on October 23, scheduled for 4 p.m. at the Tempe Police Department Apache substation.
