Summer Bruschetta Showdown Kicks Off at Postino!
The Battle of The Bruschetta is back at Postino WineCafé, offering diners an opportunity to engage in a culinary showdown. This summer-long event, which began in July, features a bracket-style competition showcasing four limited-time bruschetta recipes at its eight Valley locations.
The first round saw French Onion bruschetta pitted against Berry Mascarpone. Each dish was creatively crafted, with bold flavors like roasted garlic aioli and melted brie meeting sweet blackberry mascarpone and graham cracker streusel. The second round kicks off from August 1-31, when Buffalo Cauliflower bruschetta faces off against the savory Philly Cheesesteak variant.
Starting September 1, the winners from these initial rounds will compete for the title, culminating in a final showdown on September 16. Patrons can play a role by sampling the bruschetta flavors and voting for their favorites through a simple text vote. The victorious dish will earn a lasting place on Postino’s menu this fall.
Last year’s competition attracted over 28,600 votes, with the “Mexican Street Corn” bruschetta emerging victorious. This summer, executive chefs at Postino have again crafted unique recipes to entice patrons. Fans can visit locations like Postino Arcadia or Postino Central in Phoenix to join in the delicious action.
