Stunning Footage Captures Wrong-Way Driver Just Before Loop 202 Crash

PHOENIX — In a disturbing incident on Thursday night, a wrong-way driver collided with another vehicle on the Loop 202, prompting transport to a local hospital for injuries sustained in the crash. The Arizona Department of Public Safety (DPS) reported that the collision occurred around 9:40 p.m., when a motorist recorded the driver traveling eastbound in the westbound lanes, ultimately striking another car near 40th Street.
Witnesses and officials indicated that impairment may be a factor in the incident. While the wrong-way driver was hospitalized, the driver of the other vehicle declined medical treatment at the scene.
