Cave Creek Election Results

In a closely contested election in Cave Creek, Bob Morris emerged victorious in the mayoral race, receiving 59.59% of the votes, which translates to 1,153 votes. His competitor, Jim Grubb, garnered 40.41% with 782 votes.

For the councilmember seats, Kathryn Royer led the tally with 1,125 votes (13.72%), followed closely by Cynthia Driskell at 1,099 votes (13.41%). Thomas McGuire secured 1,083 votes (13.21%), while Bryan “Dusty” Rhoades received 1,053 votes (12.85%). Tom Augherton garnered 1,029 votes (12.55%), Joe Freedman tallied 962 votes (11.74%), Julie Goldammer had 951 votes (11.6%), and Alex Nadesan concluded with 895 votes (10.92%).

In matters of propositions, Proposition 482 was approved with a significant majority, receiving 1,493 votes (77.36%). Conversely, Proposition 483 was rejected by the voters, with 1,307 votes (65.45%) against it. Proposition 484 also faced rejection, with 1,347 votes (66.95%) opposing it.

Carefree Election Results

In Carefree, voter turnout was 55.23%, with 1,752 ballots cast. Colleen Rose-Scurti led the councilmember race with 909 votes (22.02%), and Lon Johnson followed with 789 votes (19.11%). Diane Lloyde Roth received 718 votes (17.39%), while Stephen Hatcher garnered 640 votes (15.5%). Vince D’Aliesio had 615 votes (14.9%), and Nakisa Azizi concluded with 457 votes (11.07%).
