Stabbing Incident at Uptown Alley in Surprise Leaves One Injured and Hospitalized

A bystander was hospitalized after intervening in a fight at an entertainment venue in Surprise, Arizona, on Friday evening.

Authorities received reports of the stabbing at Uptown Alley, located on N. Litchfield Road, around 4:15 p.m.

According to the Surprise police, the initial altercation led to one individual attempting to flee the scene. In a moment of crisis, the bystander attempted to stop the fleeing person.

During this confrontation, the fleeing individual stabbed the bystander. Fortunately, the injuries sustained were non-life-threatening, and the victim was transported to the hospital for treatment.

The Surprise Criminal Investigations Unit has taken over the case and is actively investigating the incident.
