Sonoran Arts League’s Hidden in the Hills returns for 28th year

Arizona’s premier artist studio tour, Hidden in the Hills, is set for the last two weekends in November: Nov. 22-24 and Nov. 29-Dec. 1. Organized by the nonprofit Sonoran Arts League, this free, self-guided event showcases the work of 179 artists across 44 studios in Cave Creek, Carefree, and North Scottsdale.

Now in its 28th year, the tour draws thousands of art enthusiasts eager to explore a wide array of artistic mediums, styles, and price ranges. For many, it serves as a unique opportunity to find original gifts ahead of the holiday season.

Studios will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day over the two weekends, allowing ample time for visitors to explore multiple locations. Some patrons prefer to visit based on their favorite genres, while others take a more spontaneous approach, inviting friends to join them on this artistic adventure.

In addition to displaying a diverse selection of artwork, many artists will contribute a piece labeled “Art from the Heart.” Proceeds from the sale of these pieces will be fully donated to the Sonoran Arts League.

For those looking to plan their visit, maps are available at www.HiddenInTheHills.org, along with Google directions. During the event, yellow Hidden in the Hills signs will guide attendees along main roads like Scottsdale Road and Cave Creek Road, leading them to the featured studios.
