Skateboarding Empowers Native Community to Showcase Artistry and Heritage
Di’Orr Greenwood’s skateboarding journey began with a humble start. Her first board was a simple, inexpensive plastic skateboard handed down to her younger brother by their grandfather. Curious and wanting to share in the joy her brother found, she decided to give it a try.
The thrill of skating quickly captivated her. From that moment, Greenwood dedicated herself to improving her skills. In a short time, she transitioned from that old plastic board to a professional setup. Her journey reflects a deep passion for the sport, driven by an initial moment of sibling curiosity.
Greenwood’s dedication and talent have grown significantly since those early days.
