‘Flying turd’ demonstrates how not to pass on SR 238: video

A harrowing incident involving reckless driving was narrowly avoided in Maricopa, Arizona, recently. Christian Rojo, a Phoenix manager for TJD Trucking, shared dash-cam footage on the Maricopa 347 Rants Facebook group that captured the event along State Route 238.

The footage, taken yesterday at 2:16 p.m., reveals a dangerously miscalculated maneuver by the driver of a Cadillac in a designated passing zone just west of North Rio Bravo Road. This area, marked by yellow dashed lines, permits overtaking slower vehicles when safe.

However, the Cadillac driver misjudged the situation drastically. He swerved into oncoming traffic at a high speed, forcing himself to create an off-road lane in the dirt to avoid an imminent collision. His vehicle swayed menacingly across both lanes, creating a chaotic scenario.

The situation nearly escalated when the Cadillac overcorrected back onto the road, cutting off a second semi-truck. The truck driver had to slam on the brakes and swerve to avoid a crash, leaving a trail of tire marks and smoke. Remarkably, the truck managed to regain control, avoiding any accident.
