Shock in Goodyear: Two Bodies Discovered at Residence, Suspect in Custody

GOODYEAR, Ariz. — A welfare check on Thursday morning in La Paz County led to the shocking discovery of two deceased individuals. The La Paz County Sheriff’s Office reported that both a man and woman were found inside a residence in Salome, showing visible signs of head trauma.

Quickly responding to the situation, deputies identified a suspect within hours. The individual was apprehended in nearby Goodyear and is currently held in a La Paz County jail.

The investigation into the homicides is ongoing. As of now, authorities have not disclosed the identities of either the victims or the suspect.
