RTA Unveils $2.46B Draft Transportation Plan in Upcoming Open Houses for Public Input
The Regional Transportation Authority (RTA) is set to engage the public with a series of open houses in December and January regarding a significant 20-year, $2.46 billion plan aimed at regional transportation advancements.
These sessions invite Pima County residents to review and offer feedback on a draft plan that encompasses a wide array of improvements, including roadway upgrades, enhanced transit services, increased safety measures, accessibility initiatives, and reconstruction of high-traffic roads.
Funding for the proposed enhancements would come from a half-cent sales tax, contingent upon voter approval for an extension.
