With this win, the Aztecs improved their impressive record to 43-5, 31-5 in ACCAC play, and have now won 10 consecutive games, their third double-digit win streak this season.

Freshmen Arianna Flores and Belen Camacho earned the wins on the mound.

In the first game, the Aztecs triumphed 10-3, breaking open a close contest with a six-run fifth inning. Critical plays included an RBI single from Lopez and a two-run double by Marx, which extended their lead significantly.

The second game saw the Aztecs further assert themselves, winning 10-1 in just five innings. After tying the game at 1-1, Pima scored nine unanswered runs, highlighted by Nunez’s three-run homer and Figueroa’s walk-off shot to seal the victory.
