Rhythms of the Old West: Unveiling the Beat Behind the Frontier

In honor of the National Day of the Cowboy, the Sedona International Film Festival is teaming up with the Sedona Historical Society for a unique fundraising event. The event will showcase the classic 1954 Western “Drum Beat,” slated for Saturday, July 26, at 3 p.m. The screening will be held at the Mary D. Fisher Theatre, offering an opportunity for the community to engage with Western heritage.
This collaboration aims to celebrate cowboy culture while supporting local initiatives. The National Day of the Cowboy, established by President George W. Bush in 2005, highlights the significance of cowboys in American history. The film screening will not only entertain but also contribute to historical preservation efforts in Sedona.
Attendees can expect a nostalgic journey back to the Old West, underscoring the impact of cowboy traditions in contemporary society.
