Maricopa police arrested 29-year-old Adrian Mitchell on Wednesday night for performing rap music in a local park. Residents in the Acacia Crossings neighborhood reported loud noises at around 8:41 p.m., with complaints indicating that someone was “yelling on a microphone,” disturbing nearby children who were trying to sleep.

Upon their arrival at the intersection of Portabello Road and Costa Brava Avenue, officers found Mitchell positioned behind a tree while using a megaphone to rap. Authorities have not confirmed whether his performance included original lyrics or was a cover.

During the investigation, Mitchell attempted to leave the scene but was quickly apprehended. He now faces charges for failure to identify himself, resisting arrest, and disorderly conduct, all of which are classified as misdemeanors.

Mitchell is no stranger to law enforcement. Court records indicate that he has been arrested ten times since 2013, with convictions for burglary, drug possession, and assault among his legal troubles.

This incident marks the second arrest of a rapper in the past week. Earlier, Starlex Dorsley was taken into custody for allegedly stalking and assaulting a teenage girl at Maricopa High School.
