Rancho Boy Injured in Minor Collision

A young boy is back home safe following a near-miss with a vehicle this afternoon. At approximately 3:30 p.m., a dark blue sedan struck the boy while he was riding his bicycle near Rancho El Dorado Parkway and Vintage Drive.

A Pinal County Sheriff’s deputy reported that EMTs assessed the boy for injuries and cleared him to return home with his parents. Thankfully, he was wearing a helmet during the incident. His family chose not to make a statement regarding the event.

This accident is part of a concerning trend, with at least seven other reported crashes occurring at or near the same intersection since October. Authorities are urging the community to exercise caution in the area.
