Propane Blaze Leaves One Injured at Tempe Town Lake

TEMPE, Ariz. — A propane fire at Tempe Town Lake has left one individual hospitalized due to burns. The incident, reported by the Tempe Fire Medical Rescue Department, occurred as firefighters responded to a “hazardous situation” involving a propane tank.
The fire broke out during the 2025 Innings Festival at Tempe Beach Park, which featured performances from popular bands including The Killers and Boyz II Men. However, officials have yet to confirm whether the incident was directly linked to the festival.
Firefighters quickly extinguished the flames caused by a leaking propane tank; unfortunately, one person sustained burns and was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. The severity of the individual’s injuries remains unclear as investigations continue.
Tempe fire officials are still determining the cause of the propane leak and subsequent fire. As this is a developing story, further updates will be provided as new information becomes available.
