Police Hunt for Suspect in Fatal Central Phoenix Shooting

Phoenix authorities report a fatal shooting in central Phoenix that occurred early Sunday morning at approximately 12:30 a.m. The incident took place near 2nd Street and McKinley Street.

A man involved in the shooting was quickly transported to a local hospital, but he succumbed to his injuries shortly after arriving. As of now, police are actively searching for a suspect who fled the scene prior to officers’ arrival.

Authorities urge anyone with information about the incident to contact Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS or 480-TESTIGO. Tips leading to an arrest may qualify for a reward of $2,000.
