Pizza Hut Set to Launch in Exciting New Location Tonight!
Early this morning, residents of Maricopa were taken aback by a stark yellow sign posted on the door of the local Pizza Hut. The sign, bearing severe warnings that read, “UNSAFE TO OCCUPY. DO NOT ENTER. CONDEMNED,” indicated potential troubles for the eatery.
However, the ominous message was short-lived. The City of Maricopa Development Services Department removed the sign after the restaurant successfully passed its final inspection today. With that hurdle completed, Pizza Hut is now preparing to reopen its doors.
Located at 21101 N. John Wayne Parkway, Suite E102, the establishment has transitioned into a smaller storefront, just four doors down from its previous location. Area Supervisor Lupita Morales shared that the restaurant is set to officially reopen at 4 p.m. today.
“We’re waiting for [city officials] to give us the permit and we’re good to go. We’re getting ready,” Morales stated, indicating the team’s eagerness to serve pizza once again.
Inside the new location, the setup indicates imminent business; deflated balloons and stacks of pizza boxes line the entrance, suggesting a flurry of activity behind the scenes. The pizzeria had hoped to launch the new venue in early December, following the move in late November.
In related news, Barro’s Pizza has announced plans to take over Pizza Hut’s former location this spring, with General Manager Mike Hull expressing excitement at the prospect of a larger kitchen and patio dining area for their upcoming opening.
