Pima Graves Shines Against Glendale, Secures ACCAC Player of the Week Honors

Pima Community College’s Solaris Graves, a standout midfielder from Ironwood Ridge High School, has been recognized for her exceptional performance on the soccer field. Last week, she was named the ACCAC Division II Player of the Week for the period of October 13-19, marking her as the fourth player from the Pima women’s soccer team to receive this accolade this season.
Graves’ impressive play was instrumental in securing a crucial victory for the Aztecs, as she scored the decisive goal in a 2-1 win against Glendale Community College. Her goal, which came in the 52nd minute, solidified Pima’s fifth consecutive win.
This season, Graves has made significant contributions to her team, participating in 12 out of 13 games and starting 11. Thus far, she has netted four goals and provided two assists, bringing her career total to 13 goals.
The No. 8 ranked Aztecs are set to conclude their regular season on Saturday, hosting the No. 5 Phoenix College at the West Campus Aztec Field. Kickoff is scheduled for 8 p.m.
