Pickup Truck Smashes into Acacia Crossings Residence!

Maricopa police and fire crews responded to a significant crash involving a vehicle that damaged a home in Acacia Crossing on April 10, 2025. The incident occurred shortly after 6:43 p.m. at the intersection of Ancon Avenue and Gavilan Drive, according to Phoenix Regional Dispatch.

A dark-colored Chevrolet Colorado, registered in Utah, collided with the corner of the vacant house, striking the framing adjacent to the garage door. The impact resulted in substantial warping of the home’s walls and visible cracks in the surrounding stucco.

Fortunately, the driver managed to exit the vehicle without injury. An MPD spokesperson confirmed that there were no occupants in the house during the crash. “The crash is still being investigated,” the spokesperson stated. “The total damage to the home is not yet determined.”
