Phoenix Police Capture Suspect Behind August’s Fatal Stabbing
Cisco Dennis, 35, was tragically killed in a stabbing incident on August 29, near a residence south of downtown Phoenix. Authorities have apprehended a suspect in connection with the case.
The violent event took place around 10:30 a.m. on August 29 in the 300 block of West Hadley Street, close to Central Avenue and Lincoln Street. Responding officers discovered Dennis with multiple stab wounds and he was immediately transported to a nearby hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
Investigators collected evidence, including surveillance footage, which pointed to a potential suspect, identified as 47-year-old Jason Flemming. Despite establishing probable cause for the arrest, police were initially unable to locate him.
On October 15, police received a report of trespassing and, during their response, encountered Flemming. He was subsequently arrested and is now facing murder charges alongside additional, unrelated legal issues.
