Phoenix family displaced after fire engulfs house


PHOENIX — A fire early Saturday morning has displaced a family of four in west Phoenix, according to local authorities.

The Phoenix Fire Department responded to the incident at a residence near 35th and Northern avenues. Upon arrival, firefighters found a substantial fire rapidly spreading through the home.

Emergency crews quickly took control, successfully extinguishing the flames. Fortunately, a mother and her three children managed to evacuate before the fire department arrived, and no injuries were reported.

Assistance through the community program is currently being provided to the affected family. The investigation into the cause of the fire is ongoing.
