Phoenix Faces Continuous Storm Threat Through Thursday and Friday
Daily storm chances continue through Friday and wane for the weekend.
PHOENIX — A Weather Impact Alert has been issued for the rest of Wednesday evening due to a Blowing Dust Advisory across parts of the Valley. This advisory is in effect until 11 p.m. and includes the Southeast Valley, Queen Creek, South Mountain, Ahwatukee, and parts of Pinal County extending to Tucson. Additionally, a Severe Thunderstorm Watch until 9 p.m. signifies favorable conditions for potential severe storms.
Storms are likely throughout the Valley through Friday, with daily highs predicted to be just above 110°F through at least Saturday.
Drier air is expected to move in over the weekend. Storm chances will return on Tuesday.
