Phoenix Blaze Uncovers Tragic Discovery: Hiker Found Dead on Trail

Phoenix fire department responded to a distress call on a hiking trail in north Phoenix on Sunday morning.

PHOENIX — Authorities confirmed a man was found deceased on a trail, prompting a response from the city’s fire department.

Emergency teams were dispatched to the Circumference trail around 8:15 a.m. for reports of an unknown injury. Upon reaching the individual, it was determined he was beyond the help of resuscitative measures.

Specialized rescue personnel will support the Phoenix Police Department in the recovery of the body. An investigation is being conducted, although initial reports suggest the death was not heat-related.
