Alexandra Bracken, a Phoenix native and number one New York Times bestselling author, is making a stop in her hometown as part of her national book tour. She will be discussing her newest fantasy novel, “The Mirror of Beasts,” at Changing Hands Bookstore on Monday, Aug. 5.

Bracken’s latest work delves deep into Arthurian legend and Celtic lore, inspired by her own family history. This new novel is the concluding part of her “Silver in the Bone” duology, set to release on July 30 from Alfred A. Knopf. The author’s exploration into her lineage, which ties back to both King Arthur and Sherlock Holmes, ignited the creative spark for this series.

The event is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. Changing Hands Phoenix is located at 300 W. Camelback Road.
