Pedestrian Hospitalized After Suspected DUI Collision

PHOENIX — A pedestrian was hospitalized following a collision with a suspected intoxicated driver overnight, according to Phoenix police reports.

The incident unfolded near 40th Street and Camelback Road. Upon arrival, officers discovered the victim injured in the roadway and promptly detained the driver on DUI suspicion.

Initially in critical condition, the pedestrian has since stabilized after being rushed to the hospital. Authorities continue to investigate this ongoing situation.
