Pedestrian Hit by Trailer in Havasu Morning Collision

A pedestrian was struck by a stationary trailer after a vehicle collision in Lake Havasu City on Friday morning, the local police reported.

According to Lt. Frank Hayden, the incident took place in the 2000 block of College Drive at around 8:57 a.m. The vehicle, carrying two occupants, was traveling eastbound when it crashed into a trailer parked on the road’s shoulder.

The impact caused the trailer to move, hitting a pedestrian nearby. Hayden confirmed that the driver received a citation, although impairment is not considered a contributing factor in the accident.

The pedestrian sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was promptly transported to Havasu Regional Medical Center for treatment.
