Officers on the Hunt for Shooter as One Victim Deadly Injured in Gunfire

PHOENIX — A serious shooting incident in north Phoenix has left one person in critical condition. Police are actively searching for the suspect involved.

Officers arrived at the scene near 32nd Street and Freiss Drive, just north of Thunderbird Road, around 6 p.m. on Wednesday. Reports indicated a shooting had occurred, prompting an immediate response from law enforcement.

Upon arrival, authorities located an individual suffering from a gunshot wound. That person was promptly transported to a hospital for urgent medical treatment and remains in critical condition.

In response to the ongoing investigation, several streets in the vicinity have been closed. Police are conducting searches for both evidence and the suspect.
