NYT report: Trump used offensive language to describe Kamala Harris in private conversations

WASHINGTON — Former President Donald Trump has allegedly used a derogatory term to describe Vice President Kamala Harris in at least two private conversations. This assertion comes from a report by The New York Times, citing two sources who heard Trump use the term. Both sources were granted anonymity.

Trump campaign spokesperson Steven Cheung denied the accusation, stating, “That is not language President Trump has used to describe Kamala and it’s not how the campaign would characterize her.”

Trump has a documented history of making derogatory statements about women and political opponents. This includes calling Harris and other women, such as Hillary Clinton during her 2016 presidential campaign, “nasty.” Trump infamously boasted about grabbing women’s genitalia in the “Access Hollywood” tape.

In the 2016 Republican primary debates, Trump called his rival Carly Fiorina “horseface.” Additionally, last month, he falsely claimed that Harris, who is Black and of Asian descent, misled voters about her race.

Trump has previously disparaged E. Jean Carroll, a writer who accused him of rape, labeling her a “nut job” and asserting she fabricated the story to sell her memoir. A New York jury subsequently found Trump liable for sexual abuse, although not for rape, in Carroll’s civil case against him.

Disparaging remarks from Trump are not limited to women. He has also ridiculed male political rivals, referring to Sen. Marco Rubio as “liddle Marco,” Sen. Ted Cruz as “lyin’ Ted,” and former Gov. Jeb Bush as “low energy Jeb.”
