As part of the fan engagement for the show, viewers will have the opportunity to select the Game of the Week. Last week saw Tonopah Valley secure a perfect regular season, trouncing Antelope Union with a stunning 58-12 victory.

The nominees for this week’s Game of the Week feature three pivotal matchups. Here’s a closer look at the games up for consideration:

ALA-West Foothills at Dysart

In the West Valley, the undefeated ALA-West Foothills Guardians (9-0) are set to face the 7-2 Dysart Demons in a championship clash for the 3A Metro West region. Dominating this season, ALA-West Foothills has outscored opponents 324-19, with dominant wins against teams like Odyssey Institute and Kofa. Despite early setbacks, Dysart has rallied to secure seven consecutive wins.

Horizon at Cactus Shadows

Northern Valley brings another showdown as the 6-3 Cactus Shadows Falcons play host to the 7-1 Horizon Huskies in a 5A Northeast Valley encounter. Horizon, riding a wave of victories, recently demonstrated their prowess against teams like Desert Mountain and Higley, while Cactus Shadows seeks to build momentum following a recent win over Notre Dame Prep.

Mountain View at Cesar Chavez

The final matchup in Laveen features the 6-2 Cesar Chavez Champions squaring off against the 7-1 Mountain View Toros. Cesar Chavez aims to continue their winning streak after a series of strong performances while Mountain View looks to extend their dominance after sweeping previous encounters between the two schools.
