No Injuries in Dramatic Honeycutt T-Bone Collision

Maricopa witnessed a T-bone crash on the evening of November 16, 2024, at the intersection of Honeycutt Road and Rancho Mirage Boulevard. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
Local police and fire departments responded to the scene around 9 p.m. The collision involved a gray Honda Civic and a black Ford Fusion. The Honda suffered damage to the rear of its passenger side and remained in the intersection, while the Ford Fusion, which sustained significant front-end damage, was parked just west of the intersection.
Jordin Amato, a resident of Tortosa and the driver of the Ford, shared details about the incident. She indicated that she was traveling east when the Honda attempted to make a left turn onto Rancho Mirage Boulevard from the west.
By 10 a.m. the following day, both vehicles had been towed from the scene. Cleanup crews were seen clearing debris from the intersection shortly thereafter.
