New Women-Only Gym Launching Tomorrow in Heritage District

Natalie McGrory stands at the forefront of a new fitness initiative in Maricopa, aimed at empowering women in their workout journeys.
Stepping into a gym can often feel daunting, especially for women. Many arrive ready to lift weights but find themselves deterred by an intimidating environment. McGrory, aware of this challenge, has dedicated her efforts to changing the narrative.
Feelings of intimidation may arise from self-consciousness, unfamiliar equipment, or even unwelcome attention from male gym-goers. This reality has shaped McGrory’s mission.
Four years ago, she co-founded Peaches and Gains, initially offering personal training from her garage and holding fitness classes in rented spaces. Her goal: to create a supportive environment where women could thrive.
Now, McGrory is set to celebrate a significant milestone with the grand opening of her new gym located at 19342 N. Maricopa Road, Suite 110, in the Heritage District, on the morrow at 11 a.m.
“I am thrilled to create a space that changes lives,” she expressed. “With each new client, my focus is on motivation and pushing them toward their goals.”
The grand opening invites everyone, including men, to experience the gym firsthand. “Husbands are keen to see where their wives will be working out, and I want them to feel welcome here,” she added.
The event will go on until 1 p.m., featuring a noon ribbon-cutting ceremony. Attendees can look forward to raffles and goodie bags filled with promotional items.
