New video shows WM Phoenix Open arrest

SCOTTSDALE, Arizona — Brandtbert Brudenell, a 19-year-old, has found himself in hot water following a series of incidents connected to the WM Phoenix Open. The young man gained notoriety after a video surfaced online capturing his racist remarks during the tournament, leading to his dismissal from his job.

If that wasn’t enough, Brudenell’s troubles continued when he was arrested for trespassing at the event. On February 6, Scottsdale police discovered him wandering the closed course near the 2nd hole. Officers reported that Brudenell refused to leave when asked.

According to law enforcement, security personnel at the event informed police that Brudenell had previously attempted to evade them. His arrest took place around 7:45 p.m., and he now faces charges that include criminal trespass, providing a false name, and underage drinking.

This troubling behavior has drawn public attention, putting a spotlight on the challenges that can arise during large events like the WM Phoenix Open.
