A conceptual site plan has emerged revealing a proposed dental office at the Stonegate Plaza in Maricopa. The project is spearheaded by Florida-based WMG Development, which recently submitted documentation detailing their concept plan and a land title survey.

The plans outline a 4,200-square-foot facility situated at the southwest end of the Stonegate retail hub. It will border the Maricopa-Casa Grande Highway to the southwest, alongside a forthcoming build-to-rent community to the west. This dental clinic is designated for a corner unit on a 1½-acre plot, adjacent to an establishment dubbed “Oil Express.” Further along the retail strip, additional developments include the city’s second standalone Starbucks and Someburros.

This proposal is part of a replat request that aims to increase the total number of lots in the area from three to four. The Maricopa City Council will review and decide on the proposal during their meeting on Tuesday.

WMG Development has a history of collaborating with Heartland Dental and has successfully established at least two dental clinics in Arizona, namely Gavilan Peak Dental Care in Anthem and 83rd Marketplace Dental Care in Peoria. These clinics are integral parts of the Heartland Dental network.

Currently, Maricopa houses 14 dental clinics, with this new facility marking the third addition in the Stonegate/Wells area. The proposed dental office aims to enhance local healthcare services and cater to the needs of the community.
