Multiple Victims, Including Children, Rushed to Hospital After Phoenix Crash

PHOENIX — A tragic crash on Sunday evening has claimed one life and hospitalized several others in Phoenix, according to local authorities.

Emergency responders were dispatched around 7:45 PM to the scene at 43rd and Sweetwater avenues, where two vehicles were involved in a collision.

The fire department provided assistance to multiple individuals at the site. At least three adults and two children were transported to a local hospital for treatment.

Unfortunately, a woman succumbed to her injuries shortly after arriving at the hospital. The remaining occupants are reported to be in stable condition.

In the wake of the crash, police have closed 43rd Avenue between Sweetwater Avenue and Cactus Road as detectives conduct their investigation.

Authorities plan to release further information concerning the incident on Monday.
