Motorcyclist Left Hospitalized with Broken Leg After Rush-Hour Collision

Authorities are investigating a motorcycle accident that occurred this morning at approximately 8:30 a.m. The collision took place at the intersection of John Wayne Parkway and Hathaway Avenue, an area noted for its high incidence of traffic crashes.

A motorcyclist was injured in the incident, sustaining a broken leg. Emergency medical services transported the individual to a local hospital for treatment. The other vehicle involved, a sedan, displayed significant front-end damage.

In response to the accident, law enforcement restricted southbound traffic on John Wayne Parkway to one lane until around 9:45 a.m. to facilitate cleanup efforts. Fortunately, no additional injuries were reported in connection with this incident.
